Doctoral Fellowships

for three years, starting in spring 2020.

 

SAM is a coordinated PhD programme that offers a structured three-year doctoral training in the field of Additive Manufacturing in an excellent research environment with individual support. The full-time fellowships of 1400 € a month are funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry for Science and Culture.

The research of SAM aims at developing additively manufactured components with sensory or actuator properties. Details on the research topics that will be studied in 16 projects can be found at projects page.

 

Up to three of these projects that are most interesting to the candidate should be named in the application.

 

Applicants should have a diploma or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering or a natural science with thematic references to SAM. Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing would be advantageous. Language requirements are proficiency in English or German at level C1 or better as well as the willingness to learn the German language.
