We are pleased to welcome the first fellowship holders of the School for Additive Manufacturing!

M. Sc. Gerrit Eckert completed his studies in Chemistry at the Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH) with his master thesis on the “Photoelectrochemical characterization of Metal chalcogenide nanoparticles”. Within SAM, he is working on the doctoral project “Targeted assembly of functional nanostructures by means of additive manufacturing” at the Institut für Physikalische Chemie und Elektrochemie (PCI) of the LUH, supervised by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Nadja-C. Bigall.

M. Sc. Patrik Müller studied Mechanical Engineering at the LUH and graduated with a master thesis on the “Analysis of Interaction of Rough Ice Surfaces and Pattern Geometries in Lab”. For his doctoral project “Simulation and concept development for implants made of graded materials”, Patrik Müller is supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lachmayer and Dr.-Ing. Paul Gembarski at the Institut für Produktentwicklung und Gerätebau (IPeG) of the LUH.

With his master thesis on “Chiral Multinuclear Complexes”, M. Sc. Arthur Sander completed his studies in Chemistry at the LUH successfully and is now working on the doctoral project “Functional nanoswitches for additively manufactured materials” within the SAM. The project is supervised by Prof. Dr. techn. Franz Renz at the Institut für Anorganische Chemie (ACI) of the LUH.
