Hardness and Microhardness Tests

In addition to hardness testing methods on various components using Brinell (DIN EN ISO 6506), Vickers (DIN EN ISO 6507), and Rockwell (DIN EN ISO 6508), the Institute of Materials Science also has a microhardness tester at its disposal to measure, for example, hardness curves and hardness mappings on microsections as well as hardness measurements of individual microstructural components, thin layers, or thermochemical surface treatments.
