At the institute, analysis according to DIN EN ISO 3690 can be performed to determine the diffusible hydrogen content. With the Bruker G4 Phoenix, quantitative measurement of diffusible hydrogen, mainly for weld seams, is possible. Additionally, with the attached mass spectrometer, very low amounts of hydrogen up to a limit of 50 ppb can be detected.
