Technical Data
| length | 3 m |
| width | 2 m |
| Height | 1 m |
| Movement speed | max. 1,2 m/min |
| Special functions | Inductive heat treatment, Hydrogen measurement according to ISO 3690 |
At UWTH, there is a basin for underwater welding experiments next to the pressure chamber. The basin can be used if a maximum water depth of 1 meter is required, as it allows the electrodes and samples to be changed quickly and easily.
The guide machines can be moved in three directions, with a movement speed of 0 to 1.2 m/min. The Z-axis is controlled by the voltage of the arc, which has previously been set on a second controller.
