Tungsten inert gas welding (TIG)

The procedure for TIG welding is similar to MAG welding. However, the difference is that no wire comes out of the welding machine to create the weld seam during welding. Instead, a non-consumable tungsten electrode is installed and the welding wire is fed in by hand. The tungsten electrode is protected by an environment such as argon or helium to prevent it from burning or being destroyed. This welding process can produce particularly beautiful weld seams.
