High-Temperature Materials

The high-temperature materials investigated include nickel-based superalloys and niobium-based MASC alloys (Metal And Silicide Composites). These can be used at temperatures above 1000°C and are therefore suitable for use in the high-temperature application of aircraft engines and stationary gas turbines.
