Cyclic Material Testing

In cyclic material testing, samples are cyclically loaded with different force or strain control to investigate the fatigue behavior of materials and make predictions about their service life. Test procedures include Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and Incremental Step Test (IST) at sample temperatures up to approximately 1200 °C. These tests are conducted using our servo-hydraulic testing machines (up to 100 kN). Rotating bending tests according to DIN 50113 (also in corrosive environments) can also be performed to determine material life and fatigue strength curves.
