Heat Treatment / Spray Cooling

The heat treatment is a process for the targeted adjustment of material properties. The workpieces are heated and subsequently cooled over a period of time. The cooling can be achieved using various mediums such as air, water, oil, or through an air-water spray. The latter technology enables the integration of quenching into hot-forming processes.
