High-temperature materials

The high-temperature materials under investigation include nickel-based superalloys as well as MASC alloys (Metal And Silicide Composites) based on niobium. These can be used at temperatures above 1000 °C, making them suitable for the high-temperature range of aircraft engines and stationary gas turbines.
