The small basin at the UWTH has a volume of almost 64 m³ water. With the help of a crane on top of the pool, it is possible to set up a wide variation of tests. Normally this pool is used for training divers for underwater welding and for underwater tests in general. The water is continuously treated by a modern filter circuit and thus offers consistent water quality.
