Oxy-arc-cutting

Oxy-arc flame cutting is a special process of oxy-fuel flame cutting and arc cutting. The process is also used for thermal cutting of metallic metallic components in the underwater area. Oxygen flows through a hollow electrode and an arc is ignited between the electrode and the workpiece. The thermal energy of the arc is used to reach the ignition temperature of the material and the material is then burned with the oxygen.
