Material Testing and Metallography

The central facility for materials testing and metallography acts as a service provider for all investigations and questions relating to destructive materials testing. In particular, standardized testing methods are used; in addition, a wide variety of special tests can be developed and carried out. The extensive and state-of-the-art equipment is used for basic research as well as for services and contract research together with partners from industry.
