Thermomechanical Fatigue Tests

Many components are not only subjected to cyclic mechanical loads but also to repeated thermal stresses or influences. TMF tests (thermomechanical fatigue tests) are carried out precisely for these load cases. The tests are carried out in accordance with the "Code-of-Practice for Strain-Controlled Thermo-Mechanical Fatigue Testing" in a temperature range from approx. 50 °C to 1200 °C.
