Cyclic Material Tests

In cyclic material testing, samples are subjected to force- or strain-controlled loading in order to investigate the fatigue behavior of the materials and to be able to make service life predictions. These tests are carried out on our servo-hydraulic testing machines (up to 100 kN). Exemplary test methods are LCF (low cycle fatigue) and IST (incremental step test) tests at specimen temperatures of up to approx. 1200 °C (inductive heating).
